The holiday season started off with an Accessories Swap party at our house. So much fun for us girls! Plus, the guys each brought a White Elephant gift, and it was quite entertaining to watch them debate on what to "steal" from each other.
We spent Avery's first Christmas up in Dallas with my family. Santa visited Avery and brought her a jumperoo, which has quickly become her favorite activity EVER! I really don't know how Santa is going to top that one next year.
We then came back to San Antonio and enjoyed ringing in the New Year with Marshall's family. Avery enjoyed spending some QT with her cousin, Ainsley, while we enjoyed watching them interact. What a wonderful year 2010 was - but, one has to wonder, what will 2011 have in store for us?
Well, for starters, in early January we got to enjoy a visit from my Dad (aka. Bupa). And, as expected, we made meringue cookies (a much-loved holiday tradition in this family). Oh, you can bet those cookies only lasted about 48 hours in this house. Yum!
