At the beginning of the month, we took our first family vacation to Houston. Each day we traveled around the city meeting up with various family and friends who live in the Houston area. We had such a great time catching up with everyone and having some of them meet Avery for the first time. I will admit though, looking back now I realize it was quite a feat packing/unpacking everything for our then 6-month old baby each morning and night. Totally worth it, but totally exhausting!
Later that month, Avery and I drove up to Dallas to spend time with family, support my brother-in-law in the recent passing of his mother, and to celebrate my mom's birthday. Here are some photos of our time together:
